As part of our ongoing “Bags of Love” initiative, the SVP (St. Vincent de Paul) team rolled up their sleeves and got to work once again. The Giant store, in their spirit of generosity, offered us some fantastic discounts on items we needed for the bags. With these discounts in hand, we filled our carts with essentials and goodies to brighten someone’s day.
After a shopping spree at Giant, we loaded up our vehicles with these essential items and headed back to the church for the big packing session. Picture this: our storeroom is now stacked to the brim with bags, three deep and four high, ready to be distributed to those in need. It’s a sight that warms the heart and reminds us of the impact a community can make when they come together for a good cause.
And speaking of coming together, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support and generosity of you, our amazing parishioners. Your donations, big or small, have made a world of difference in the lives of those who need it most.
