The Durbanville Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is thrilled to share the remarkable success of this year’s “Bags of Love” project!
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our parishioners and supporters, we received an incredible 302 filled bags, ensuring that more than 1,500 people will enjoy much-needed meals this festive season.
Whether you filled a bag with essential provisions or donated funds to support the project, your kindness has made a world of difference. The bags are already being distributed to families and individuals in need, spreading hope and joy across our community.
A special thanks to the team of volunteers who worked tirelessly packing the bags in the church hall and to our local Giant retailer for their support in providing the goods at great prices. Together, we’ve proven the power of love in action.
Thank you for living out the true spirit of Christmas by extending a helping hand to those less fortunate. May God bless you for your generosity and compassion.
