Following the severe rains and devastating flooding that recently impacted over 104,000 people across Cape Town, the Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) Durbanville stepped forward to assist.
We are incredibly grateful to share a heartfelt thank-you letter from Caritas Cape Town, acknowledging our community’s donation of R5,000 towards their active Disaster Relief Program.
In collaboration with RESPOND, these vital funds have directly aided ongoing distributions of baby emergency boxes, food parcels, blankets, clothing, and hygiene buckets to heavily affected areas including Philippi, Vrygrond, Paarl, and Klipfontein.
Thank you to everyone in our parish and local community whose continuous generosity allows us to pull together as a Christian family, helping neighbors rebuild their lives during times of crisis.
